Rebirth of a woman (2017)

120x120 cm Acryl and ink on canvas The baby girl comes into this world as a perfect, beautiful soul. Admired and loved for just who she is. Growing up, she looks to her mother with great expectations and in admiration. Expectations, because the girl has yet to develop her own sense of identity and doesn't know how. Admiration, because she expects her mother to set an example of everything the girl can become as a woman. As a woman she eventually learns to let go and be herself. She is re-born!
